I was blown away by their beauty. It is one thing to see them on screen, and a whole different thing to meet them in person. Liv is pretty new to me, but she is a veteran in the Swedish movie industry. Kyss Mig is sure to launch her and Ruth Vega Fernandez into stardom. The three of us sat down to talk about how the movie was made, what they had to go through, and the hype that has been growing around the movie.
Kyss Mig: Interview with Josefin Tengblad and Liv Mjönes
Kyss mig interview
Return to Not Like Others. First of all, tell us something about yourself. How comes that a renowned actress in Sweden has a Latino-Hispanic name? My parents are Spanish. I was born on the Canary Islands. But after a couple of years we moved to Sweden and kept traveling all around from then on. Thus, do you consider yourself Spanish or Swedish?

Ruth Vega Fernandez is sitting on her balcony talking to me on Skype. She has just gotten back from a film set in Stockholm. I moved to France when I was 17 and graduated from high school here. My majors were literature and philosophy.
She got her breakthrough in madly acclaimed For the struggle Carries On and plays love-battling Mia in Kiss Me, playing with flying colors in timing with Pride. Pumps, pencil skirt and a fancy blouse. Ruth Vega Fernandez matches a classic outfit with heavy eyelids and an exotic sixty-like, new wave-movie star look. The fact that she dresses as stylishly as a French woman is perhaps not surprising. Ruth Vega Fernandez has lived in France since she was sixteen.
